Where to Watch Liebe und andere Delikatessen (2010)

Summary

Franka Lauth leads a luxurious life. Thanks to her top job in a Berlin advertising agency, she can afford a penthouse, a chic convertible and, by the way, a sofa for 4,500 euros. Her soaring comes to an abrupt end when Franka's ore competitor Markus Spreng steals the presentation documents for a spectacular campaign. Her faint-hearted boss, Roland Kunze, doesn't believe Franka, who then quits in anger. The expectations of the successful art director for a suitable position are quickly disappointed. After a sobering visit to the employment office, Franka takes on a job as a kitchen helper at a catering company in order to at least continue to pay off the apartment. She falls in love with her boss Jakob, who is a gifted cook but who presents his first-class appetizers without imagination. Franka develops a lot of marketing ideas, but the timing is extremely unfavorable: Jakob has to save, and so Franka loses this job too. Together with Jakobs ex-employee Deria, she founds her own catering service. While Jakob's business is bad, Franka's company is becoming an insider tip on the food scene. A major order with a gala dinner for 500 guests unexpectedly puts Franka in trouble. Without professional support, pure chaos threatens. Jakob would have free capacities - but the two lovers have meanwhile become entangled in a bitter guerrilla war.
