Louisa Déry and Michèle Grondin start working on this film well before the #metoo movement. As of 2011, they observe a return of balance on certain rights granted to women and wonder about an upsurge of traditional and religious values. Quickly, they want to make a documentary that will present their observations through the eyes of a man. When the director Yvonne Defour joins them, the film becomes more precise and Vincent Graton, a feminist father and an actor, political commentator recognized for his activism is called to do what will be for him a real roadtrip. Between January and April 2018, Vincent goes to meet women and men at the heart of these issues in four major cities; Tunis, the rebellious Arab-Muslim world, Paris in the heart of the European community, Washington, residence of one of the most controversial Presidents of the Western feminist world and Montreal, starting point of all the reflection. A trip during which Vincent wonders about the rapprochement between political and religious powers currently taking place and realizes that this alliance represents a real danger for the rights of women in our societies. It is in a tone of confidence that we see the evolution of Vincent's reflections. What will be the reaction on the audience? It is without a doubt a film shock as much for the supporters of living together as for the conservatives. Everyone finds answers to their questions even those that have not yet been forged.
