Summary
In the Three Gorges Reservoir area of Fengjie County, Chongqing City, there is a family who live in the depths of the mountains and silently inherit the century-old paper making process. This traditional craft is now included in the Chongqing Intangible Cultural Heritage Key Protection Project. The protagonist Li Shilin is the fourth-generation heir to the paper mill. In order to adhere to the century-old paper mill left by his ancestors, even though he couldn't make ends meet, he resolutely took his wife and children to stay at the mill to make "earth fire paper". When Li Shilin said loudly: The paper mill cannot be thrown away. We have seen the moving precious spirit of the intangible cultural heritage, and they have seen the indifferent, simple and industrious side of the impetuous world.
