Summary

In "Hot oder Schrott - Die Allestester" Detlef Steves ("Off to the bed!") and his wife Nicole receive new products from all over the world, which they should put to the acid test. In order to make the tests more objective, in addition to the steves, four other families of different composition are involved in each episode, which are supplied with the sometimes useful, sometimes bizarre products from bicycles without pedals to inflatable whirlpools and window cleaning robots. A three-generation family from Berlin, a gay couple from Hammelburg, an elderly opera singer couple from Krefeld and a four-member student flat from Cologne are among the "all-stars" who have to come to a conclusion about the sense and nonsense as well as the price-performance ratio of sauna belts and other inventions.
